Lauren Beck holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Stellenbosch University and has six years of teaching experience, with four specialising in early childhood music and movement. She is among the first teachers in South Africa to complete full early childhood Kodály training, using singing, movement and play to build musical foundations, language, coordination and confidence. 

A recorder specialist with a love for Baroque music, Lauren performs across the full consort and has played flute with the Cape Town Philharmonic Youth Wind Ensemble. She also sang with the Stellenbosch University Choir.

Lauren is a Junior Jive franchisee, sharing an exciting proudly South African music and movement programme with our little people.
