With decades of experience, Mignonne Schäfer brings deep expertise and heart to our classroom. She holds a Montessori diploma and a diploma in Early Childhood Development. Mignonne studied music theory and piano through the Royal Schools of Music. Mignonne is passionate about the intersection of music and language. Fluent in English, Afrikaans, German, and French, with conversational isiXhosa, she loves watching children blossom through song, dance and creative play.

Music Tree is a proudly South African, theme-based programme where children learn through rhythm, melody and imagination.

Kids explore real instruments, feel the beat and learn songs in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa so that our little people can hear the natural rhythm of each language, making language learning inclusive, natural and fun.
